Lazzari Wood Chunks for use in charcoal grills or ovens. Some customers combine wood chunks when grilling with other Lazzari fuels such as our hardwood lump charcoal or charcoal briquets. Other customers use only wood chunks for creating a fire in the grill or oven. Both techniques add the unique flavors of these woods to the foods being cooked. Lazzari Wood Chunks are 100% natural hardwood, there are no chemicals or additives. Varieties: Apple, Cherry, Hickory, and Mesquite.

Lazzari Hardwood Lump Charcoal is made from 100% natural oak hardwood. It contains no chemicals, additives or fillers. Hardwood lump charcoal burns cleanly, with a minimum amount of ash and is an excellent fuel for slow cooking over a low heat or hot grilling any type of food. Oak lump charcoal adds a subtle smoky flavor to food, and leftover lumps can be re-lighted and used again. Susie Q’s California Native Red Oak Chips is a hardwood that burns slowly and evenly. The aromatic smoke generated by the smoldering chips imparts the distinct character of the terroir of California’s Central Coast; a mellow sweet flavor that is low in tannins. Foods barbequed with red oak are quickly seared to seal in the flavorful juices then slow roasted to perfection (medium rare in the case of beef).
Susie Q’s California Wine Chips are made from recycled 100% American and French Oak wine saturated barrels, which have been used in the aging of fine wines for many years. Upon completion of the aging process the five to seven year old barrels are hand selected for recycling into wood smoking chips. Upon grilling this imparts a distinctive yet subtle flavor and aroma of wine chips which will enhance your grilling experience.
